Cookie Policy
Which cookies this site sets, what they do, and how to change your choice.
What we set
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. This site keeps them to a minimum and sets nothing beyond the essentials until you consent.
Essential
- NEXT_LOCALE: remembers whether you are reading the English or German version. Set by us, expires after one year.
- bsc_consent: stores your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. Set by us, expires after twelve months.
These are required for the site to work and are set on the basis of our legitimate interest; they cannot be switched off.
Analytics, only with your consent
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): measures which pages and procedures are viewed. Expires after up to two years. IP addresses are shortened.
- Plausible: cookieless by design. It stores nothing on your device and records only aggregate page views.
Nothing in this group loads before you accept it, and rejecting it changes nothing about how the site works for you.
No advertising cookies
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share site usage with advertising networks.
Changing your mind
Use the cookie settings link in the footer to change or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, which resets your choice.
